Revolutionising Food Safety

According to Public Health Ontario “Food safety is the science of handling, preparing and storing food to reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses. Food contaminated with harmful bacteria, viruses, parasites or chemical substances can cause many illnesses. In Ontario, the five most commonly reported types of bacteria causing foodborne illness are campylobacter, listeria, salmonella, E. coli and Yersinia.” (https://www.publichealthontario.ca/en/health-topics/environmental-occupational-health/food-safety).

As a consequence of this food safety is a key factor of managing any food related establishment. This is so that any possible food safety risks can be mitigated and the public can be kept safe. The consequence of not following these food safety regulations can lead to sever illness ad in some cases may lead to death.

As you know, each province has its own set of regulations and policies that should be strictly adhered to so that the public is kept safe. Food inspections are an everyday reality for places that serve or prepare food. It is worthwhile being constantly vigilant so that when your time comes you can feel confident that you meet all the necessary criteria.

This is not to say that sticking to these regulations is not cumbersome. These procedures are often time consuming and laborious. They can also at times seem unnecessary and over the top.

This is where we come in. Our innovative technology will give you back some time and make some of these processes less time consuming. Watch this space. We are currently in the development phase of our product but when brought to market we will revolutionise and automate part of these processes.

That’s all we are saying for now but please keep an eye out because we are hoping to go to market in the next couple of months.

If you are interested in being part of our piloting program please reach out and we can discuss the process with you.

Until then
